Company Policies


At Luxury Pet Grooming, we are deeply committed to making your dog’s grooming experience as safe, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. For these reasons, we have put the following policies in place. If you have a question or concern about any of them, please contact us.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel a scheduled grooming appointment, please give us the courtesy of calling with at least 48 hours notice. Failure to do so will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount, which will be added to the fee of your next appointment.

No Shows: We understand that emergencies happen, but if there is no one home at the time of your scheduled grooming appointment and we cannot retrieve your dog, you will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount, which will be added to the fee for your next appointment. Clients who have had previous infractions will be required to pre-pay for future appointments in full.

Payment: Payment is due at the time a service is completed. We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, checks, and all major credit and debit cards.

Returned Checks: There will be a $40 fee for all returned checks, and subsequent payments for services may be made with cash, Zelle, Venmo, credit card, or debit card only.

Health or Medical Problems: It is very important that you bring any of your dog’s known medical conditions or behavioral issues to our attention every time you book an appointment because grooming has the capacity to expose hidden problems or aggravate current ones (which can appear during or after services). If our groomer notices any serious issues while performing services, she will immediately cease grooming and contact you. We are not responsible for any medical expenses you may incur as a result of your dog’s grooming due to pre-existing conditions.

Stress & Aggression: For the safety of both your dog and our groomer, we reserve the right to cease providing services at any point during the grooming process if your dog becomes too stressed or aggressive. If this does occur, we will call you immediately to notify you. The fee charged will be pro-rated according to the number of services performed up until that time.

Allergic Reactions: It is important that you bring any known allergies to our attention every time you book an appointment. Although we only use high-quality natural and hypoallergenic products on your dog, if he or she appears to be having an allergic reaction to a product being used, we will immediately rinse it off and call you. Any medical expenses for your dog that are incurred due to pre-existing allergy conditions are fully the dog owner’s responsibility.

Severely Matted Coats: Dogs with severely matted coats require a significant amount of extra time and attention. Severe matting can only be humanely removed by shaving the pet, which can potentially cause nicks, cuts, scrapes, etc. By requesting this service, you acknowledge the risks associated with this process.

Company Van: Clients are welcome to tour our luxury grooming van prior to any services. If desired, up to two adults may also stay for grooming.

Weather Policy: In the event of extreme inclement weather in which there are hazardous driving conditions, we will contact you to reschedule your appointment as soon as possible.

Accidents: While accidents are rare, there is always a risk when working with pets and grooming tools. Our tools are sharp, and although we use extreme caution in all situations, possible risks, including nicks, cuts, scratches, and the quickening of nails, can occur. In the unlikely event an accident does occur, we will call you immediately to notify you about the incident.

​Refusal of Service: We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet or owner for any reason, at any time.

Photographs & Videos: By booking a service with us, you consent to one of our company representatives photographing or capturing video of your dog during services performed for possible use with our company’s marketing. If a photograph or video is used in our marketing, it will be without your personal identifying information. You further agree that this confers upon you no rights of inspection, use, ownership, or copyright, and you waive any right to any compensation for any image or video used by us.
