WELLNESS COACHING
If you want to be proactive about your dog’s health and well-being, then wellness coaching is for you! It includes everything you need to know to ensure your fur baby leads a long and happy life.
Coaching is led by Luxury Pet Grooming owner Katie Horowitz, who has more than 20 years of professional experience. In addition to being a graduate of the New York School of Dog Grooming, she is also a certified pet massage therapist, a certified Ayurveda herbalist, and a Reiki healer.
You are welcome to take notes and/or audio or video record the 60–90 minute training session for future reference.
Coaching includes verbal tutorials on:
- The best foods for your dog's nutritional and dietary needs
- How much, when, and where to feed your royal highness
- Beneficial herbs and dietary supplements
- Coat brushing maintenance and matt detangling techniques
- Teeth brushing, ear cleaning, and nail clipping techniques
- The basics of canine first aid
- When and how to use CBD for anxiety and pain management
- How to give your dog a full-body massage
- Communicating with your pup verbally and through thought
- Common issues to be aware of and on the lookout for
